Knit-terviews 2 @ Austin Public Library

May 10 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Free to attend Ages 16+
Join your local knitting community to create a community-story-scarf and get to know someone new! From beginner to veteran, we welcome all skill levels!
Together, we will weave our stories and creativity into a physical representation of our creativity, resilience, and strength.
At this event, pairs of crafters will design and swap off on a shared section of the scarf while sharing stories with each other- the classic pair of crafting and chatting!
Yarn, crochet hooks, and knitting needles will be provided. If you would like to bring your own, you are welcome to! Coffee, tea, and small snacks will also be provided as refreshments.
Those who are interested in participating but do not practice a fiber arts craft are welcome to draw or sketch!
This activity is designed for self-reflection, healing dialogue, and building new relationships. Thus, we request that those in attendance are over the age of 16 unless parents/ guardians are unable to find childcare
