Reception for “Art Teachers Making Art”

All are welcome at a reception for the artists featured in the current James Wegner Gallery show “Art Teachers Making Art” at Riverland Community College. This show features work from artists who are Austin area art teachers. Art teachers who have time to create work for themselves is a rare thing. Their time, energy, and emotional intelligence are apt to be consumed by the multiple concerns of the teaching profession. This show represents the fortitude and playfulness of these artists who dare to teach.
