Austin MN is lucky to have different theatres in the community. Summerset Theatre is a not-for-profit community theatre that collaborates with The Riverland Community College Foundation and typically performs two-three productions at the Frank W. Bridges Theatre. Riverland Theatre also performs in this space and produces four productions during the academic year. Matchbox Children’s Theatre provides opportunities for younger audiences. The Historic Paramount Theatre host many traveling & local shows during the year.

The Austin ArtWorks center is home to the Austin Area Arts headquarters. the Austin Area Arts mission is to showcase local arts, to provide arts enrichment programs to children and adults, and to make a community of artists and art lovers.
