ASD Music Therapy Ages 8 – 17

Autism Friendly Austin & LIFE Mower County are partnering to provide NEW music therapy classes at MacPhail Center for Music. These group classes will be for youth who have different abilities! 

For youth ages 8 -17 : September 3 – October 8, 2024 on Tuesday’s from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. 

Cost: $30 per child for a 6 week session

**Music therapy is used to help individuals with social interaction, verbal communication, initiating behavior, and reducing anxiety. The benefits of music therapy may include improved communication, social skills, behavior, sensory issues, self-reliance, and parent-child relationships.
