Little Learners Music Therapy ASD

THIS REGISTRATION IS FOR ALL 7 SESSIONS OF LITTLE LEARNERS MUSIC THERAPY on TUESDAYS, MARCH 18-APRIL 29, 2025.  This registration for all 7 sessions is nonrefundable.  IF YOU’D PREFER TO REGISTER WEEKLY (IF SPACE ALLOWS), PLEASE REGISTER FOR EACH INDIVIDUAL SESSION.

Autism Friendly Austin (part of the Hormel Historic Home) and LIFE Mower County are partnering to provide Music Therapy classes for Little Learners at LIFE Mower County.  This class is a “Caregiver & Me” or “Parent & Me” experience in a group setting for PreK Youth, ages 2-7 years of age, who have different abilities.  Class instructor is a certified music therapist.  Questions?  Contact our Community Autism Resource Specialist, Danielle, at danielle@hormelhistorichome.org or 507-433-4243.

• Approx. 30 minutes of music time!

**Music therapy is used to help individuals with social interaction, verbal communication, initiating behavior, and reducing anxiety. The benefits of music therapy may include improved communication, social skills, behavior, sensory issues, self-reliance, and parent-child relationships.
