Each November and December, the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train heads out on a journey through Canada and the United States with the goal of spreading holiday joy, raising funds, collecting food, and promoting awareness for local food banks in the communities it visits. The brightly decorated train will visit 25 Minnesota cities this holiday season.
During each stop, Canadian Pacific makes a donation to the local food bank and encourages guests to do the same while musicians entertain crowds by performing free concerts from the brightly decorated train’s stage.
Since its inception in 1999, the Holiday Train has raised more than $22.4 million and 5.15 million pounds of food for community food banks.
